THE HEXAGONAL HIVE AND THE MOUSE IN THE MAZE

“This film asks many questions, but gives few answers,” director Tilda Swinton states at the beginning – which is not surprising given the subject matter of this essayistic documentary. The world is changing rapidly, with A.I. and robots taking over more and more tasks, shouldn’t the way we learn change, too? Around the world, Swinton and co-director Bartek Dziadosz search for new ways of passing on knowledge and often find approaches that focus less on stubborn learning and more on free, original thinking.
