LEONOR WILL NEVER DIE

It's not often that a film within a film (within a film) is so original, funny and emotionally impactful at the same time: The title character is a retired Filipino action director. Her husband has left her, her favourite son is dead and her least beloved son bugs her with unpaid bills. When Leonor then falls into a coma following an accident, her subconsciousness dives into the world of her latest and unfinished action movie script, where the problems that plague her in real life find dream-like solutions.
