THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN

Padraic and Colm live on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland. They are life-long buddies, so the shock is immense when Colm suddenly decides to end their friendship. With the help of his sister Siobhan the devasted Padraic tries to revive their relationship. But instead Colm gives him a shocking ultimatum and things begin to escalate. This film won the awards for best actor (Colin Farrell) and best screenplay (Martin McDonagh) at this year’s Venice film festival.
