Since his childhood Kurt Brock has lived on the edge of a wild settlement not far from Cologne’s North Cemetery. The barracks, which were intended as emergency shelters after World War II, have long since become home for the man in his late fifties. In winter he takes in a homeless couple. But Kurt himself is threatened with homelessness after a bailiff delivers an eviction notice. Fortunately, "Rievkooche Kurt" has many friends who get involved.
