After two movies about Joan of Arc Bruno Dumont (LI'L QUINQUIN) makes an astounding left turn for this satire about modern media that’s both hilarious and pitch black. France de Meurs is France’s most successful TV journalist. Whether interviewing president Macron or reporting from a war zone, she always cuts a fine figure. But then a seemingly harmless car accident, in which she injures a Scooter driver, derails her life. In the title role Léa Seydoux showcases one of the most layered performances of her career.
