IT'S NOT ME

For an exhibition that ultimately never took place, the Musée Pompidou asked Leos Carax to respond in images to the question: “Where are you at, Leos Carax?” He responds with a film full of questions in the tradition of Jean-Luc Godard’s later-career film essays. The Frenchman looks back on his life and work, on his collaborations with actors such as Juliette Binoche and Denis Lavant. We are showing IT'S NOT ME together with the short film AN URBAN ALLEGORY by Alice Rohrwacher and JR, in which Carax plays a leading role.
