LOOK SHORT FILMS

The subjects could hardly be more different, but all the films in this programme use existing material to tell their stories. JILL, UNCREDITED follows the performances of an extra over decades. The story of NEIGHBOUR ABDI, born in Somalia, is re-enacted in a greenscreen studio. THE MEMO takes a look out the window and documents the lockdown in Shanghai with mobile phone videos. And in BEAR, the director discovers in an amateur filmmaker’s video footage that he has indeed not only filmed bears.
