The last relics of the French colonial empire from a child’s point of view: Robin Campillo (120 BPM) tells of his childhood memories of Madagascar in the early 1970s. Ten-year-old Thomas has moved here with his family, since his father is stationed at the military base. With a curious gaze and influenced by the comics about the intrepid Fantômette, the boy takes in his surroundings in amazement. And gradually his eyes open to the upheavals beyond the carefree bubble of the white colonialists.
