Filmmaker Marc is retreating to his aunt’s house, with his latest movies’ raw footage in his luggage. He “kidnapped” it, when his producers tried to boot him off the project. Now he hopes to finish his masterwork in peace and quiet. The problem is both his exuberantly creative mind and his fear of finishing, of committing himself. Michel Gondry is back! In this first feature film in eight years – this one with strong autobiographical elements – he once again celebrates the DIY spirit and untamed creativity.
