Struggle For Life

Marc Châtaigne is an intern at the French Ministry for Standards and Norms. His job is to supervise the planning of the first indoor ski venue in the Amazon Jungle. But on his way back from the building site he has an accident and gets lost in the wild with his driver Tarzan (yes, that's her actual name), and they stumble into an odyssey of APOCALYPSE NOW-size proportions. Antonin Peretjatko's anarchic and wonderfully silly comedy feels less like a Louis de Funès movie and more like a cross between Monty Python and the Zucker, Abrahams & Zucker films. STRUGGLE FOR LIFE shows that France at the moment has much wilder comedies to offer than what's shown in our cinemas.
