CAN AND ME

Irmin Schmidt is the last living founding member of Can, Cologne‘s legendary Krautrock group. Beyond that, he also had a decades-long successful career as a film music composer. CAN AND ME shows the life and work of this Stockhausen pupil with interviews conducted in his adopted home of Southern France. His longtime wife Hildegard also has a special role, as manager of the band and the Spoon Records label she played a big part in the band‘s worldwide success even long after their breakup.
