The directors stack their narrative with just enough real German and Austrian football legends (clearly enjoying themselves) to make this wild yarn about bizarre training ground antics, Austrian team masseuses, Brazilian gangster boss team owners, and even a East-West-German switcheroo believable – and the global search for this footballing enigma by his brother is strangely touching, too.
