Since his wife Abby (Frances McDormand) would rather go to bed with his new employee Ray, bar owner Marty hires seedy private investigator Visser to have her and her new lover killed. Visser collects the money, but instead of killing the two, he offs his client Marty. Now all suspicions lead to Abby and Ray.
