WDR3 Forum: Zur Zukunft des Krimis

Crime fiction is one of the oldest genres in cinema and TV and has lost nothing of its popularity. The audience never gets tired of going on an investigation with inspectors, looking into the abyss of evil and getting engrossed in the story. Whether it's in the theatre, on TV or on streaming portals, whether as a series or feature – crime is ubiquitous. In Germany about every fifth minute on television is dedicated to crime fiction. This can only be sustained, if the genre can keep on expanding to new topics and new sub-genres: Scandinavian crime shows, True Crime, crime scene investigators, profilers, interactive formats, etc. Where is this crime train going, and who's going to be on board? The WDR3 Forum will discuss this ever-ending desire for crime and murder in media with genre experts.
