SXSW®-Night: The Big Sick

In their ongoing co-operation the Film Festival Cologne presents a night dedicated to the most spectacular festival world-wide for music, film and interactive media, the SXSW® in Austin, Texas. On the screen there will be the Judd Apatow-produced SXSW® critical darling and audience favourite THE BIG SICK: With plenty of both heart and humour this movie tells the love story of Kumail and Emily. Kumail shies away from introducing Emily to his Pakistani family, and when she finds out about it, a separation seems inevitable. But when she suddenly falls seriously ill, it's Kumail's turn to show how serious he is about her.
