DIE UNBEUGSAMEN 2 – GUTEN MORGEN, IHR SCHÖNEN!

Three years ago, DIE UNBEUGSAMEN was a long-running hit in German arthouse cinemas. Now Torsten Körner’s homage to the female politicians of the early Bonn Republic has been supplemented by a somewhat different counterpart from the East. This second part, entitled “Guten Morgen, Ihr Schönen!” (Good morning, you beauties!), brings together short chapters of analytical and anecdotal statements by almost twenty GDR women on memorable moments from 40 years of everyday culture, politics and resistance – from the “heroines of labour” to the opposition of the late years.
