Local police officers Henk and Süher once again have a lot on their plate, when legendary local crime writer Finn is found dead on his estate – while his husband has a convenient alibi of having been shipwrecked in a storm. It's a case that touches on local politics, the media – and some very private affairs. As per usual in this latest installment of the deadpan provincial Northern German crime series, locals like the undertaker and the substitute pharmacist and hobby detective are just as involved as the police themselves.
