A small town close to Brussels. In a bank robbery, the branch manager, several employees and customers are being taken hostage. Police has surrounded the building. Throughout the day the detectives try to defuse the situation. The perpetrators set free a little boy, but their identities remain a mystery. Journalists and family members are not the only thing obstructing this investigation, there are also tensions and private problems among the police officers themselves. But the perpetrators have their problems, too: Their plan gets more complicated than they had wished. And soon it turns out that nobody – neither inside nor outside the bank – is what they seem to be.
