Parks and Recreation

Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) works for the Parks Department in the tranquil small town of Pawnee and is convinced that her small job is just the beginning of a great political career. When the overzealous official is confronted with a complaint from citizen Ann Perkins (Rashida Jones), who wants an old excavation next to her house removed because her boyfriend Andy (Chris Pratt) broke both his legs there, Leslie believes she has found the right plan to realise a major park project and prove herself to the world. However, there are all kinds of hurdles on the supposed career springboard, and her employees are not entirely innocent. At least her bureaucracy-hating supervisor Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) and colleagues such as loud-mouthed Tom (Aziz Ansari) and the young and lazy intern April (Aubrey Plaza) don't exactly make her work any easier.
