In Harold Ramis' ANALYZE THIS (1999), powerful mafia boss Paul Vitti (Robert De Niro) suffers from panic attacks and insomnia, which jeopardises his position in the underworld. In desperation, he turns to psychotherapist Dr Ben Sobel (Billy Crystal), who inadvertently becomes the gangster's confidant. Vitti resolves to tackle his emotional problems. However, this good intention leads to comical situations, as Vitti tries to combine the mechanisms of therapy with his criminal mentality.
